This delightful woodblock print depicts a typical urban scene from 1870 to 1949. It is museum quality framed with double matts and solid core mattboard and detailed frame. The piece is in excellent condition.

Tsuchiya Koitsu was a prominent artist during the Shin-Hanga movement in Japan during the early years of the 20th century. He is known for his scenes from the first Sino-Japanese War. Later in his career he began a publishing house for art prints repepresenting several artists.
