Rain at Horyuji Temple is a classic Sin Hanga Movement piece by Tsuchiya Koitsu. It dates from 1870 to 1949. It is highly collectable and in excellent condition. Framed and double matted in museum quality materials.

Tsuchiya Koitsu was a prominent artist during the Shin-Hanga movement in Japan during the later years of the 19th century through the early years of the 20th century. He is known for his scenes from the first Sino-Japanese War. Later in his career he began a publishing house for art prints repepresenting several artists.
